About The Programme
AKES, Bhubaneswar offers a 3-year full-time Diploma in Mining Engineering programme, approved by AICTE and affiliated to SCTE&VT, Odisha. This programme equips students with the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the mining industry, covering subjects like Mine Surveying, Rock Mechanics, Drilling & Blasting, Mineral Processing, and Mine Safety. It emphasizes sustainable and scientific mining practices, preparing students to work efficiently in both surface and underground mining operations.
Minimum Eligibility: 10th / ITI / 12th Science Pass

Selection Criteria
